Current Programming
Our current and future programs are highly interactive and are specifically designed to cater to and focus on the needs and aspirations of the BIPOC community. We have maintained operational sustainability thus far by building long-term relationships with partners who believe in us. Our partners saw our vision and asked to get on board. They sponsored events and programs, offered us meeting space, connected us to networks and mentors, and funded our ability to register ourselves as a non-profit society.
Sustainable Workforce Coalition
Joined the Sustainable Workforce Coalition, where we contribute to regional ideation and collaboration on inclusive workforce development for the environmental sector.
Coast Capital
New partnership with Coast Capital allows us to offer our members free access to career development training through coursera
SURGE
We actively partner with youth-led BIPOC grassroots initiatives to further support and amplify their efforts. One notable example includes our collaboration with SURGE, an initiative co-founded by one of our former members, to amplify their community event focused on clothing swaps
Vancouver Economic Commission
Partnership with Vancouver Economic Commission for 2.5 years before its dissolution leading to our group influencing the contribution of a JEDI-focused action to expand regional capacity building networks in the Zero Emissions Economic Transition Action Plan.
